get notified whenever the vehicle moves in and out of that fence.
-
What is displayed in the Geofence Status section?
The Geofence Status section displays the summary of vehicles entering and exiting
the
Geofence region. You can also view the number and details of vehicles that entered the

Cancelled
trips for Cargo Trips, Guest Trips and Ignition Cycle On/Off Trips.
The user can know the status of cargo trips using the GPS of the device connected
to the
vehicle or using driver’s SIM tracking.
Ignition Cycle On/Off trips are those trips that weren’t scheduled before. Here the
driver
starts the ignition and move the vehicle for more than 500 metres aerial radius. Ignition
trips are ended when the driver has kept the ignition of the engine OFF for a period of more
than 30 minutes.
- Completed Trips: Count of trips that have been completed.

What is displayed in the Vehicle Alerts section?
The Vehicle Alerts section displays the status of all vehicles alerts like
Accidents,
Collision Warning, Over Speeding, DTC, Tracker Status, Low Battery, Ignition Status,
Towing,
Geofence, Route Deviation, Route Violation, Long Idle, Long Stoppage, Sudden
Stoppage.
- Accident: Detected based on impact detection with the help of accelerometer and
gyroscope.
- Collision warning: Moderate collision alert is generated if the vehicle is too
close to the vehicle in front and is in way of collision.
- Over Speeding: Over Speeding events are recorded when the driver is speeding over
the set threshold value.
- DTC: A DTC code is a series of diagnostic trouble codes used by vehicle’s on
board diagnostics (OBD) system to alert you when a vehicle experiences a malfunction.
For understanding any specific code, please refer to the definitions provided by your
manufacturer in the vehicle manual.
- Low Battery: If vehicle battery falls below threshold of 11.8V for more than 2
min, low battery alert is generated.
- Ignition Status: Device sends Ignition alerts as Engine ON/OFF.
- Towing: When a vehicle is being towed by other vehicle. On detection of ignition
off, device note down the parked location. Post this any change in the vehicle location
> 300 meters with ignition off leads to tow alert generation.
- Geofence: Virtual fence is created around a user point of interest location
(Latitude, Longitude) using maps. This Geofence is useful for tracking entry/exit
timings inside the fence area.
- Route Deviation: The system compares estimated ETA with buffer time and actual
ETA, compares estimated distance and actual distance, if any difference in terms of ETA
and distance, an alert will be generated.
- Route Violation: When a vehicle moves out 500 metres of the created route, an
alert will be generated.
- Long Idle: When a vehicle with ignition ON is not moving for more than the Global
settings time + 10 minutes combined. This is configurable for Enterprise.
- Long Stoppage: If the vehicle is stopped for a long time while it is in trip will
be treated as a Long Stoppage and alert is generated. It works for only SIM tracking
vehicles - when we receive 8 consecutive lat-longs of sim from same location (lat -
longs).
- Sudden Stoppage: When the vehicle is not moving more than 500m after receiving
Over Speeding/Harsh Braking/Sharp turn alert from device, sudden stoppage alert is
raised.
-
What is displayed in the Driving Behavior Alerts section?
The Driving Behavior Alerts section displays the status of all driving behaviour
alerts like
Harsh Braking, Rapid Acceleration, Sharp Turn, Seat Belt Compliance, Driver
Distraction,
Driver Fatigue, Night Drive Alert, Continuous Running and Geofence Speed Violation.
- Harsh Braking: Harsh braking occurs when a driver uses more force than necessary
to stop the vehicle. The presence of harsh braking often indicates aggressive or
distracted driving and can lead to costly claims, as well as increased maintenance
issues.
- Rapid Acceleration: Rapid Acceleration is change in accelerometer value,
resulting due to sudden increase in the vehicle speed.
- Sharp Turn: Sharp Turn event characterizes the behaviour of a driver when
navigating a turn fast enough that their choices have an impact on the stability and
safety of the vehicle. Very gentle corners (high radius of curvature) can in general be
driven safely at higher speeds than tight corners (low radius of curvature).
- Seat Belt Compliance: When the driver is not wearing the seat-belt at the start
of a driving trip (whenever vehicle’s speed exceeds 15 mph). Available for vehicles that
have Netradyne sensor installed.
- Driver Distraction: When the driver is distracted while being on a trip i.e.
Looking elsewhere, checking his phone etc. resulting into driver's eyes being off the
road. Available for vehicles that have Netradyne sensor installed.
- Driver Fatigue: When the driver is observed as fatigue, an alert is sent.
Available for vehicles that have Netradyne sensor installed.
- Night Drive Alert: It depends on front end settings set under Settings >
Global Settings > Night Drive Alerts, Journey duration, start time, end time &
distance. A Night drive alert is generated when:
- If actual journey duration of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the
journey duration that is set in the portal between start and end time, or
- The actual distance travelled by the vehicle is greater than the distance in km
that is set in the portal.
- Continuous Running: It depends on front end settings set under Settings >
Global Settings > Continuous running, Journey duration & stopped duration. If
actual journey duration of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the journey duration
that is set in the portal and the actual halt minutes less than the stopped duration
that is set in the portal, a continuous running alert is generated.
- Geofence Speed Violation: When the vehicle exceeds given Geofence speed limit
which was entered while creating Geofence in settings or it exceeds the given speed
limit which was set in global - Geofence speed limit, a Geofence speed violation alert
is generated.
-
